There was about 15 minutes of mass confusion at the front desk because no rooms were ready. I have never had a bad experience with any Hilton until this passed weekend. I've stayed exclusively with Hilton for the last 10 years. This after her employee had already stated my floor was charged. She then proceeded to argue and tell me the distinct smell was coming only from my room and she couldn't reverse the charge. The GM, Nicole, couldn't be bothered to call me back until I called Hilton Honors and they submitted a dispute to her. I argued with her about it and she transferred me to GMs VM. When I called to find out why, another 15 minutes of mass confusion ensued before the front desk clerk got back on the phone and told me it was a smoking fee - several people were charged because someone on that floor had weed. But then after I checked out, I was charged $150. And a group was sitting at the outdoor lounge area smoking weed pretty freely. Throughout the weekend, the hallway and elevator smelled like weed. The room smelled terrible, like literal stool. I requested a 1st floor with Tub when booking, I was given a 2nd floor with no tub.
